Shop Floor Data Collection

 
ShopPAK has 2 optional data collection systems that automatically capture time and attendance data, as well as, job cost data. 
 
  • Networked PCs that capture shop floor transactions.  The PC based system is designed to work with computers, laptops, Windows OS tablets, touch screen monitors, bar code readers, and/or regular input via a mouse and keyboard.
     
  • ShopPAK Mobile is a web based application that works on any smart device (phone, tablet, etc.) provided the device has internet connectivity.  Refer to the ShopPAK Mobile User's Guide for more information.

Easier Time / Material Reporting
Nobody likes to fill out timecards or log materials they use on jobs.  The shop floor data collection system makes it easy to capture events as they happen throughout the day.  When the employee clocks out at the end of the day....they’re done....and you have an accurate log of what took place during the day.
 
Time Stamped Transactions Improve Accuracy
Employees don’t always remember when they start and stop jobs and/or operations.  The computerized shop floor data collection system automatically time stamps transactions.  Moreover, an automated data collection system doesn’t forget that an employee worked on a job.  You’ll get a much better picture of what employees are working on during the day, and how much time they’re spending on each job, if you opt for the automated data collection system.
 
Automatic Posting
The person in charge of entering timecards into ShopPAK must interpret handwritten time sheets.  This can lead to errors from either misinterpreting the timesheet, or sometimes just mistyping information.  The automated data collection system uploads transactions directly into ShopPAK.  This not only speeds the process of posting actuals to ShopPAK, but the data is 100%.
