Changing Ship Quantity and Printing a Ship Ticket
You can print or preview a ship ticket from the validation window. And if needed, it will change the ship item quantities on a ship ticket if there is a backorder situation, or there isn't room to physically load all of a given product on the truck.. In that case, the ship ticket validation window will automatically adjust the any ship item's quantity to match the scan quantity, and it will update backordered quantity accordingly.
To print or preview a ship ticket, click either the Print or Preview button located at the bottom of the Validation window.

If there are any ship ticket items that have a discrepancy between scan and ship quantity, the Print / Preview Ship Ticket window displays. However, if all ship ticket items have been completely scanned, the actual document print window displays. In the example below, three ship items have not been completely scanned, and thus, the special Ship Ticket Print / Preview window appears.

Only those ship items that have a mismatch between ship and scan quantity are listed. If you want the data collection workstation to change the Ship Ticket ship items' ship quantity to match their scan quantity……………click OK.
If you don't want data collection workstation to change the Ship Ticket ship items' ship quantity, or you simply want to abort printing the document……………..click Cancel. This returns you to the ship ticket validation window.
If you click OK, the Ship Ticket validation screen will update the ship ticket's ship items on the database, and it will display the print / preview dialog box:
Click OK to continue with previewing or printing the ship ticket.

Back in ShopPAK's Shipping tab, you'll see any changes to ship and backordered quantity:
