When trying to open ShopPAK, receiving an “Ordinal Not Found” error

When trying to open ShopPAK, receiving an “Ordinal Not Found” error similar to the below screen print:

(The ordinal number might be different as well as the particular .dll file but it will be associated with Adobe.)

It appears that there was a June 2021 update by Adobe that is triggering this error.  After that update is applied, when trying to open either ProjectPAK or ShopPAK that message is thrown.  Now how does Adobe’s update affect our software you ask?  We have certain tie-ins that works in conjunction with Adobe such as our PDF viewer.  When initially opening our software it makes a call to Adobe and due to that change, throws the .dll error you are receiving.

To correct this issue so you do not bump into it any longer, simply go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\TradeSoft\ProjectPAK directory and delete the existing libeay32.dll and the ssleay32.dll files.
