Job Form

 
Located under the ShopPAK major tab “Jobs”, the job form is used to create, update, print, and delete job related information.  The job form is controlled by the Job Tree, located under the “Jobs” tab.  If you select a particular job node in the Job Tree, you’ll see the job’s information appear in the job form.
 
Every new ShopPAK customer should acquaint themselves with all of the Job level controls, fields, and information and determine the required fields that need to be filled in by their users.  This promotes greater consistency and guarantees that generated reports are more accurate and contain all of the important job information you deem necessary.  Once defined, document and publish required fields and work flow procedures to all ShopPAK users.
 
TIP:  We recommend reading “Job Hierarchy” before reviewing this chapter.  Job Hierarchy introduces the Job, Job Item, Work Order and Product objects.  It describes the hierarchical relationship of these objects.
