Creating a New Job
Normally, you’ll use the ProjectPAK Estimate Conversion Utility to create a new job in ShopPAK. However, when you need to create a new ShopPAK job before converting an estimate, or because there isn’t a corresponding ProjectPAK estimate to draw upon, follow these steps.
1. Select File | New from the ShopPAK menu or click the New Record icon 
from the speed bar. This creates a new job icon in the Job Tree, and initializes the job form fields with any default job values. (Default job values are set via “ShopPAK Options”).

The new job icon is created at the top of the Job Tree. It may contain the next Job ID, depending on your ShopPAK Options.
