Creating Inventory Reservations
A primary function of PO Builder is creating inventory item reservations. There are two types of materials found on the Work Order materials tab (requisition grid) – job specific materials and stock items. We’ll cover how to generate job specific PO’s later in this chapter. This section explains how to place reservations against existing and ‘On Order’ inventory when the material needed is an inventory stock item.
