Inventory Window
If you select a material from the tree that is also an inventory item, PO Builder displays current inventory counts for the selected material in the Inventory window.
If there is enough ‘Available’ stock and/or ‘On Order’ stock to address material need, press the “Reserve Inventory” button to place a reservation against inventory. In our example, we need 35.776 board feet of Cherry 4/4. This can be easily met out of current inventory which has 476.54 board feet available. Clicking the “Reserve Inventory button updates inventory counts.
