PO Builder Tab Versus POs Tab
PO Builder helps you assess material requirements across several jobs, and as described in this chapter, lets you reserve inventory items and quickly generate purchase orders for direct job purchases.
To print purchase orders, or adjust status and other PO fields not accessible from PO Builder, you need to use the Purchasing tab – explained in Purchasing.
The fastest way to list PO Builder generated PO’s via the Purchasing tab is to:
1. Click the “Purchasing” main tab

to bring up the “Open Purchase Orders” dialog box. Click on "Advanced Search".

3. Search for the PO Builder purchase orders you generated today by using the following filter:
Selecting PO Builder PO’s as your choice is the same as requesting all PO’s with a status of Pending that were created today (shown below)
4. Click the “Search” button.
5. ShopPAK displays the “Results” tab with all of the PO Builder purchase orders. Click the OK button to bring them into the Purchasing form.
