Maintaining Sell Price at Job Level
ShopPAK gives you the option of maintaining sell price at the Job Level as opposed to maintaining sell price at the individual Job Item or Work Order or Product Levels. The resulting behavior is different than the other ‘Sell Price’ maintenance options. When maintaining at the Job Item, Work Order, or Product levels, sell price changes automatically ‘bubble up’ to the Job level. When maintaining sell price at the Job level, sell price is allocated across subordinate Job Items.
Placing a check in “Maintain Sell Price at Job Level”, located on the Details sub tab, tells ShopPAK that you want to allocate the contract price, held in “Sell Price”, across several future Job Items as you add them to the job.

In the example above, our contract is for $100,000, and thus far, we’ve allocated $50,000 across one or more subordinate Job Items, leaving a balance of $50,000 worth of work to do in the future.
To allocate additional contract dollars to a new Job Item, make sure that the Job Item’s Order Quantity is 1, and you enter the amount of contract money to be allocated to the new Job Item.
