Taxes and Direct Material Job Costing
You have two ways to handle purchase order taxes with regard to job costing.
1. Treat any taxes as pass through items. They will not be included in job cost reports and screens. This is the recommended approach since converting materials over from a ProjectPAK estimate do not include taxes.
2. Include taxes into the direct material job costs.
Use ShopPAK Options | Job Cost tab to set up how you want to handle material tax.
