Opening a Sub Contractor Transfer PO

To open a sub contractor transfer PO, click the Purchasing tab, click the open button then the Advanced Search button. You can find the PO lots of new ways, but we've added a option to make it easy:

ShopPAK defaults sub contractor cost to the dollar cost of the labor hours transferred. Thus, the amount will probably need to be altered to reflect the true sub contractor cost. Simply edit the PO Item's unit cost to the sub contractor's quoted price:

Next, change status to Open and OK the posting message. Once posted, ShopPAK updates the target work order, job item, and job's Job Cost sub tab's ProjectPAK estimated sub contractor cost, reflecting the anticipated cost from the newly opened sub contractor PO.

When the PO is received, or if it is a labor only PO and it is closed, ShopPAK updates the Actual Cost job accumulators at the work order, job item, and job level.
