Creating a New Work Order

 
1.    Select the Job Item from the Job Tree that you want to add a new Work Order under.
 
NOTE: You must have a Job Item in the Job Tree before you can add a new Work Order.  Refer to “Chapter 7 - Job Item Form” for instructions on creating a new Job Item or opening an existing Job Item.
 
2.    Right mouse click the Job Tree area.  This displays the Job Tree pop up menu.
 
3.    Select New Work Order  from the menu.  ShopPAK creates a new Work Order icon in the Job Tree, and initializes the Work Order form fields with any default Work Order values.  (Default Work Order values are set via the “ShopPAK Options” dialog box).
 
       A new Work Order icon  is added to the Job Tree.  The Work Order number is initially ‘????’. You can now start editing the new Work Order.  When the Work Order is saved, ShopPAK automatically assigns the next sequential number as the work order number.
