The eighth sub tab, “Job Costs”, summarizes the work order’s ProjectPAK estimated and ShopPAK actual values for:
 
  • Direct Labor
  • Setup Labor
  • Material Purchases (direct material purchases for the work order)
  • Inventory Picks
  • Sub-Contractor
  • Finished Goods

If actuals exceed target estimates, ShopPAK displays values in red.

ProjectPAK estimated hours.
Act Hrs
ShopPAK actual hours.
Ppak Cost
ProjectPAK cost.
Act Cost
ShopPAK actual cost.
Sell Price
ProjectPAK / ShopPAK work order sell price.
Total Cost
Total direct actual costs applied against work order at this time.
Gross Margin
Difference between sell price and total direct costs.
Overhead
Total overhead dollars associated with direct costs.
Net Margin
Difference between gross margin and overhead costs.  This value tracks your bottom line profitability for the work order.
Completed
Dollars completed.  Based on percent complete relative to sell price.
Backlog
Dollars left to complete.  Sell price minus completed.
