As employees log time against work orders, they also identify the operation they performed and how long they worked on that operation. ShopPAK automatically updates the ‘Operations’ sub tab and the ‘Scheduling’ sub tab with this information.
If a labor operation wasn’t planned for, in other words, an employee logged time against a work order / operation that doesn’t exist on the ‘Operations’ sub-tab, ShopPAK automatically adds it when the labor actual transaction is approved.
So even if you don’t estimate every labor operation, you’ll get an accurate accounting of all the low level labor actuals that have been logged against a particular work order.
