Job Item Type
Job Item “Type” is very similar to Job “Type”, but it is used at the Job Item level. ShopPAK jobs consist of one or more job items. Job Items can be anything you want them to be. Typically, “Job Item” is a product or group of similar products that you’re producing. They can also be used to group related work together, for example, a phase or a function of work.
Use job item type to categorize the different kinds of job items that make up your jobs. When running job cost reports, you’ll be able to categorize and contrast profitability by job item type.
